Bars 1-4 1’s and 5’s set and Turn RH Bars 5-8 1’s cast down one place / 5’s cast up one place (2’s & 4’s moving up or down as appropriate) 1’s & 5’s dance in to finish BtoB, facing own sides, ready for double triangles Bars 9-16 Double Triangles—at end turn to face ptnr for:- Bars 17-24 Reel of four (men face up to start; Ladies face down to start) Bars 25—28 1L followed by 1M dance out between 2L & 3L and in between 3L & 4L to finish in 4th place opposite side WHILE 5M followed by 5L dance out between 3M & 4M and in between 2M & 3M to finish in 2nd place opposite side Bars 29—32 5’s cross to 3rd place; 3’s cast up one place; 1’s cross RH then all set (NB—5’s have to move quickly as L has a quick turn after bar 28) FINISH ORDER 23514 |

1- 4 1st and 3rd couples turn giving right hand and cast off to second and fourth places. 2nd and 4th couples step up on bars 3 – 4 5 - 8 1st and 3rd couples turn giving left hand to face first corners. 9-12 1st and 3rd couples dance a half diagonal reel of four with first corners, passing left (popular version—pass Rt shoulder) shoulder in the middle to face second corner positions. 13-16 1st and 3rd couples dance a half diagonal reel of four with the dancers in second corner positions, passing left shoulder (popular version—pass Rt shoulder) in the middle to face their partners’ first corner positions. 17-20 1st and 3rd couples dance a half diagonal reel of four with the dancers in first corner positions, passing left shoulder (popular version—pass Rt shoulder) in the middle to face their partners’ second corner positions. 21-24 1st and 3rd couples dance a half diagonal reel of four with the dancers in second corner positions, finishing on the sides. On the woman’s side dancers are now in the order 4th man, 1st woman, 2nd man, 3rd woman, 2nd woman. On the men’s side dancers are now in the order 5th man, 1st man, 5th woman, 3rd man, 4thwoman. 25-28 The top four dancers on the men’s side with the bottom four dancers on the women’s side dance half diagonal rights and lefts in pairs (5th and 1st men with 1st woman and 2nd man; 5th woman and 3rd man with 3rd and 2nd women) 29-32 The top four dancers on the women’s side with the bottom four dancers on the men’s side dance half diagonal rights and lefts in pairs (4th and 1st men with 1st and 2nd woman; 5th and 3rd men with 3rd and 4th women). Order is now 2, 1, 4, 3, 5 on own sides. 33-36 3rd couple dance in towards each other slightly and cast up to second place, while first couple dance down between 4th and 5th couples and dance into fifth place. 5th couple step up on bars 35 – 36. 37-40 All couples turn partners once round, giving right hand.
Repeat four more times from new positions.
