Scottish country Dancing

Home Contacts Tatler Calendar Photos

Our Tuesday evening dances cater for all levels of dancers, and include basic steps and formations, with all dances being walked through.  We commence at 6pm and continue till about 8pm.  We will break for the summer at the end of May, starting again at the beginning of September.

Dancing is at the Cafe Vasiliko (Louna Park).  Directions to the Cafe Vasiliko are shown on the map below.  We hope to see you there.

The photo above is taken outside the Cafe Vasilko.  Parking is available on or off road, nearby.  Dancing is on Tuesday evenings from 6pm till about 8pm.  easy dances are alternated with more difficult ones, giving everyone a chance to have a drink and chat between dances.

Dancing evenings are open to all - Scottish or not - and no prior experience is required.  Just come along with some soft-soled shoes and cool, comfortable clothing.  Bring a partner or come alone - a non-dancing partner will be welcome to come for a drink and a chat, and to watch the (sometimes chaotic!) dancing.  Single people need never fear being left out.

This is not a strictly 'Royal Scottish Country Dance Society' evening, so whether your style is RSCDS, Reeling, Ceilidh or Old Time, we would be pleased to see you.

In order to defray the cost of the room we make a small charge of 2 per dancer each evening.
